Creating divisions

The Division is an attribute that can be added to the funding source posting record on the Project Funding tab. This field was created for sponsored research institutions for Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards reporting, but can be used by any industry. The codes and description that are set up here can be selected as an attribute for the field on the project funding source posting record.

  1. Select Financials > Project Ledger > Setup > Project Setup.
  2. Select the Divisions tab.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Specify this information:
    Division, Description
    Specify the division code and description. This code can be assigned as an attribute to the funding source posting record.
  5. Click Save.
