Asset template workbook
After adding an asset item through barcoding, you must specify an asset addition
template.
Asset addition template provides the minimum accounting data that is required by the solution to process an asset. This process is required for any asset that are interfaced through other Infor solutions.
Asset templates are listed by company and type in the asset template workbook. If the workbook is printed using a barcode printer, then the HHT operator can scan the appropriate template or specify the name. The asset template workbook is used only to add assets. Templates are not used for transfer, disposal, and inventory functions.
