Financial and People Metrics dashboard

To access the Financial and People Metrics dashboard, go to the dashboards homepage. Select the folder icon or the Browse Collections & Dashboards > CFO dashboards > Financial and People Metrics.

This dashboard is based on Global Ledger and HR Talent subject areas.

Head Count Trend report

The Financial and People Metrics dashboard consists of the Head Count Trend report which is a line type report. The report shows the employee count by work type for rolling 12 months based on selected year & period on the dashboard.

To access the Head Count Trend report, go to Visualizer. Select Infor > CFO Dashboards > Financial and People Metrics Dashboard > Headcount Trend.

These are the report elements and their sources or expressions:

  • Employee Count - shows the employee count
  • Date - shows the date
  • Work Type - shows the work type
  • HR Organization Filter - filters the HR Organization
  • Fiscal Period Ending Date - data is filtered for 12 Rolling Periods based on the Year, Year/Month selected on the dashboard.[HR Organization.HR Organization Key] = GETPROMPTVALUE('Finance Enterprise Group.HR Organization')

KPI expressions

  • KPI - Actual Revenue (Functional Amount) - shows the actual functional amount for the summary revenue account based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary revenue account is taken from the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_REVENUE.

    This summary account must be from the chart structure defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_CHART variable.

  • KPI - Budget Revenue (Functional Amount) - shows the Budget amount for the summary revenue account based on Budget, Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary revenue account is taken from the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_REVENUE.

    This summary account must be from the chart structure defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_CHART variable.

  • KPI - Actual Net Profit (Functional Amount) - shows the actual functional amount for the summary Net Profit account based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary Net Profit account is taken from the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_NET_PROFIT.

    This summary account must be from the chart structure defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_CHART variable.

  • KPI - Budget Net Profit (Functional Amount) - shows the Budget functional amount for the summary Net Profit account based on Budget, Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary Net Profit account is taken from the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_NET_PROFIT.

  • KPI - Actual EBIT (Functional Amount) - shows the actual functional amount for based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The formula for calculating EBIT is [Actual Functional Amount of Summary Net Profit Account] - [Actual Functional Amount of Summary Taxes Account] - [Actual Functional Amount of Summary Interest Account].

    Net Profit summary account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_NET_PROFIT variable.

    Taxes Summary account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_TAXES variable.

    Interest Summary Account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_INTEREST_EXP variable.

  • KPI - Budget EBIT (Functional Amount) - shows the Budget functional amount for EBIT based on Budget, Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The formula for calculating EBIT Budget is [Budget Functional Amount of Summary Net Profit Account] - [Budget Functional Amount of Summary Taxes Account] - [Budget Functional Amount of Summary Interest Account]. This shows the Budget functional amount for EBIT based on Budget, Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    Net Profit summary account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_NET_PROFIT variable.

    Taxes Summary account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_TAXES variable.

    Interest Summary Account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_INTEREST_EXP variable.

  • KPI - Actual EBIT Percent - shows the Budget functional amount for EBIT % based on Budget,Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters that are selected on the dashboard.

    Formula for calculating EBIT Percent is [(Actual Functional Amount of Summary Net Profit Account) - (Actual Functional Amount of Summary Taxes Account) - (Actual Functional Amount of Summary Interest Account) / (Actual Functional Amount of Summary Net Profit Account)]

    Net Profit summary account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_NET_PROFIT variable.

    Taxes Summary account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_TAXES variable.

    Interest Summary Account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_INTEREST_EXP variable.

    Net Profit summary account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_NET_PROFIT variable.

  • KPI - Budget Operating Expense (Functional Amount) - shows the Budget functional amount for the summary Operating Expenses account based on Budget, Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary Operating Expense account is taken from the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_OPER_EXP.

    This summary account must be from the chart structure defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_CHART variable.

  • KPI - Actual Gross Profit (Functional Amount) - shows the actual functional amount for the summary Gross Profit account based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary Gross Profit account is taken from the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_GROSS_PROFIT.

    This summary account must be from the chart structure defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_CHART variable.

  • KPI - Budget Gross Profit (Functional Amount) - shows the actual functional amount for the summary Gross Profit account based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary Gross Profit account is taken from the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_GROSS_PROFIT.

    This summary account must be from the chart structure defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_CHART variable.

  • Employee Count - shows the Employee Count based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, HR Organization, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.
  • KPI - Salaries (Functional Amount) - shows the actual functional amount for the summary Salaries account based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary Salaries account is taken from the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_SALARIES.

    This summary account must be from the chart structure defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_CHART variable.

  • Open Requisitions - shows the Open Requisitions Count based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, HR Organization, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.
  • Cost Per Hire - shows the Cost Per Hire based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, HR Organization, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary Hiring Expense account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_HIRING_COSTS variable.

    This summary account must belong to the chart structure which is defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_CHART variable.

    The formula for Calculating Cost Per Hire is [Actual Functional Amount of Summary Hiring Expense Account]/New Hire Count(date type: Effective From].

  • Revenue Per FTE - shows the Revenue Per FTE based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, HR Organization, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary Revenue account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_REVENUE variable.

    This summary account must belong to the chart structure which is defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_CHART variable.

    The formula for Calculating Revenue Per FTE is [Actual Functional Amount of Summary Revenue Account]/[FTE Count(date type: SnapShotMonth)].

  • Profit Per FTE - shows the Revenue Per FTE based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, HR Organization, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.

    The summary Net Profit account must be defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_NET_PROFIT variable.

    This summary account must belong to the chart structure which is defined in the FSM_ALL_KPI_SUMMARY_ACCT_CHART variable.

    The formula for Calculating Profit Per FTE is [Actual Functional Amount of Summary Net ProfitAccount]/[FTE Count(date type: SnapShot Month)].

  • Days to Fill - shows Average Days to Fill value with date type as Requisition Opened Date based on Calendar Scope (MTD/YTD), FEG, HR Organization, Calendar, fiscal year, fiscal month, and other filters selected on the dashboard.
