Post-provisioning steps

This section discusses procedures about processing data from FSM to Financials & Supply Management Analytics on Infor Birst.

Post-provisioning consists of tasks to be completed to ensure that any update to the replication sets are registered to the Data Catalog. Post-provisioning includes steps to add business class into the IMS connection point and data lake flow. Adding these business classes ensures that data can flow into data lake without errors.

Starting 2023.10, the new Update ION Schemas IPA workflow is available in theFSM application to perform registration of schemas and update of connection point and data lake flow.

You may skip steps 1 - 4 if you are running the Update ION Schemas workflow.

Post-provisioning tasks are performed in this order:

• Validating schema in replication sets
• Registering out of date schemas
• Updating FSM_IMS connection point
• Adding or updating Data Lake flow
• Clearing Compass tables cache
• Resetting replication sets
• Starting replications
• Validating data flow
• Running orchestration workflows
• Enabling other content
