Resetting replication sets

Starting 2023.10, the new Data Flow to Analytics Full Load and Incremental IPA workflows are now available in the FSM application to perform replication and orchestration tasks.

Data Flow to Analytics Full Load can be run to perform the reset of replication sets, start of replication, and run of Birst orchestration for full load.

See FSM Analytics Infor Process Automation (IPA) in the Infor Financials and Supply Management Analytics on Infor Birst Administration Guide.

You can skip steps 6 - 9 if you are running the Data Flow to Analytics Full Load Workflow.

CSF-MSCM Extract and Process, CSF - Security, and CSF-GL Subsystem Link orchestrations are still to be manually run as needed.

Note: Ensure that you specify the correct orchestration names to run. If you are running orchestrations for the STC spaces, names must be prefixed with "STC". For example, STC - CSF Extract and Process.

If the data in Data Lake is updated, you are not required to reset all replication sets if you know the last reset date for the replication. You are only required to reset the business classes listed in Updated business classes.

Otherwise, continue to reset the replication sets.

Caution:
Perform a reset only when you must send a full set of data to Data Lake.

Performing this step resends all data to the Data Lake. This step must not be often performed. This step increases the size of duplicate records in the Data Lake.

  1. Select Financials & Supply Management in Infor Ming.le or Infor OS Portal.
  2. Select Administration Console > Database > Replication.
  3. Select all replication sets that begin with FSM_ and end with _ST. You can select multiple replication sets by clicking each entry's check box.
  4. Right-click, and select Reset.
