This section contains enhancements in Infor Financials and Supply Management.

Remove My from Project Resource and Project Manager menus, lists, and forms

Remove My from Project Resource and Project Manager menus, lists, and form titles. The role is designed to view items that are assigned to the user so the word My is obsolete.

  1. Sign in as Project Manager or Project Resource.
  2. Verify that the menu items do not contain the word My.

Change action name and form name on the Create Child Within action

Changed the action name and form title for all dimensions.

  1. Sign in as Project Administrator and select Setup > Finance Enterprise Group Maintenance > Open a group
  2. On the Project tab, open a structure.
  3. Select the hierarchy tab and right-click on a summary project.
  4. Select the Create Child Project action.
  5. Verify that the form name is "Create Child Project For <name of the summary project>."
  6. Cancel and return to the Finance Enterprise Group.
  7. Select a dimension tab and open a structure.
  8. Select the Hierarchy tab and right-click on a summary dimension.
  9. Select the Create Child Dimension action. Verify that the title is displayed as Create Child <dimension nameFor <Name of the summary dimension>

Project Resource Role - Change Labor Distribution column header label

The Labor Distribution column header label is changed from Percent to Enter Percentages.

  • Current Period
  • Previous Period

Changed the header label on this group:

  • Employee Labor Distribution and Redistribution
  1. Sign in Project Resource and select Labor Distribution.
  2. Select the Current Period and Previous Period tabs and verify that the title heading over the Planned and Actual columns is Enter Percentages.
  3. Select the All Periods tab and open a period. Verify that the title heading over the Planned and Actual columns are Enter Percentages.
  4. Select the Employees Labor Distribution And Redistribution menu. On the Open Labor Periods tab, open a period. Verify that the title heading over the Planned and Actual columns is Enter Percentages.
  5. Select the Effort Certification menu. Verify that the title heading over the Effort Percent column is Enter.
  6. Select the All Periods tab and open a period. Verify that the title heading over the Effort Percent column is Enter.

Action label change to Project Processes menus

Action names are so long that they are cut off by the size of the left menu. Users have to hover over the name to see the full label. Remove redundant words including Project, Contract, and Transactions. from the action names on the Project Processes menus for the Project Administrator and the Project Accountant role.

Reduced the text size and repetitive words in the action name on the Project Processes menus for the Project Administrator and the Project Accountant roles.

  1. Sign in as Project Administrator and Project Accountant.
  2. Review action names on the project processes menu and verify that redundant words are removed.

Intercompany Funding Sources in SEFA reports

The federal financial reports and SEFA worksheet can now be used for Intercompany billing funding sources. Grant reporting and federal financial report tabs are available on the FD2 setup for the funding source type on Intercompany Billing. Additionally, all funding source types for intercompany billing that are flagged as SEFA are included on the SEFA worksheet.

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

  1. Sign in as Project Administrator or Project Accountant and select Project Funding List
  2. Select a posting funding source for an intercompany billing type and open it. Verify the Grant Reporting and Federal Financial Reports tabs are available.
  3. On the Grant Reporting tab select the Include In SEFA check box and complete the fields.
  4. On the Federal Financial Reports tab select Actions > Generating Reporting Settings.
  5. Complete the parameters and select Submit.
  6. Select View Report to view the created report.
  7. Select the Reports menu, either Reports by Action or Global Reports, and select the Schedule of Federal Awards tab
  8. Select the reporting setting and select Schedule of Federal Award
  9. Verify that contracts that are associated with your intercompany billing funding source are displayed on the report.

Add Called Out actions to the Project Contract Invoice Lines list

The called out actions are added to the Project Contract Invoice Lines list for remove, edit, and comment. The called out actions have also been added to the Project Contract Invoice Revenue list for Remove Revenue Transaction and Create Comment.

  1. Sign in as Project Accountant.
  2. Select a project contract and generate the invoices.
  3. Select the Invoices tab and select one of the create invoice groups.
  4. In the invoices lines detail section, select an invoice line and verify that the called out actions are displayed
  5. Repeat the steps to verify Revenue Recognition.

Removed redundant words on tab names on the Project Contracts menu for Project Administrator, Project Accountant and Project Manager Roles.

  1. Sign in as Project Administrator, Project Accountant, or Project Manager.
  2. Select Project Contracts and open a contract,
  3. Verify these tab name changes:
  • Contract FD2 Label = FD2 Label

Add visibility to Project Structure Validation Rules by posting project

Two enhancements.

  • Two new conditions, HasStructureValidationRules and HasAncestorStructureValidationRules, are now available on the Project business class in the Projects system.
  • The ProjectStructureValidation Drill Around is available to link to a composite form with two tabs: StructureValidation: A list of records for the specific posting project. AncestorStructureValidation: A list of records for the posting project’s ancestors.
  1. Add structure validation rules for a posting project.
  2. Verify that the Project Structure Validation Drill Around includes the drill around to list of records specifically for posting project and ancestor structure validate rules.

Add alert to Project Employee list and forms if employee is inactive

Add an alert to the project employee list and an Employee Inactive status. This alert is similar to the green active status on the Project Employee form in the blue header.

  1. Add a retirement date to an employee record in GHR. Verify that the status is changed to inactive.
  2. Select the check box to manually change the status to deactivate or reactivate.

  3. Verify that these tab names are changed:
