This section contains enhancements in Infor Financials and Supply Management.

Report Configuration now includes Chart Structure selection

Report Configuration for both Consolidated Income Statement and Statement of Capital Expenditures now have the ability to select Chart Structure if needed to override the one defaulted by reporting basis. Without this, users are limited to using Chart Structures that belong to a Reporting Basis.

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

  1. Select Dashboards > Administration > Report Configuration.
  2. In Consolidated Income Statement and Statement of Capital Expenditures, verify that the Chart Structure selection is displayed.
  3. Verify that the caption will be removed once the user changed the chart of account structure, for the user to be able to keep the caption they can only select the Reporting Basis only and do not change the structure from time to time.
  4. A caption is applied to all Chart Accounts under the reporting basis.

Summary Trial Balance

This enhancement added a Summary Trial Balance report. This report provides a snapshot of account balances as of a certain selected date. Balances by account are separated into columns of beginning balance, aggregation of all debit transactions, aggregation of all credit transactions, and closing balance based on the type of account.

  1. Launch the Financial Reporting Home Dashboard.
  2. Set Finance Enterprise Group, Reporting Basis, calendar period in the Required Reporting selections.
  3. Set the scenario values.
  4. Select the Summary Trial Balance Report.

Comparative Balance Sheet

This enhancement added a Comparative Balance Sheet report. The balance sheet shows an organization’s assets, liabilities, and equity. The sheet captures specific periods of time, for example, end of month, end of quarter and end of year, calendar or fiscal.

Consolidated Income Statement

This enhancement added a Consolidated Income Statement report. The income statements show an organization’s revenues and expenses over a period of time, for example a month, a quarter, or a year. Within the income statement the expenses should be subtracted from the revenues to show the net income or loss for that selected accounting period.

These are the minimum requirements of the income statements:

User-selectable filters should be the period, and a Reporting Basis. The Reporting Basis selected defines the entities to be displayed in the columns of the report, as well as the ledgers, etc.

Income Statement - Budget vs Actual

A new attribute is added to the reporting basis dimension to allow filtering of shadow reporting basis.
