Add Front End Split functionality to P-card transactions

Public Sector entities want to perform the splitting of procurement card transaction distributions based on the Project number on a distribution line. This functionality splits that distribution to reflect all funding sources that are funding the project and the fund associated with each funding source. This feature is known as Procurement Card Transaction Distribution Front-End Split (FES).

Program/Business class/Process affected:

  • modules/po/bl/ProcurementCardStatement.busclass
  • modules/po/bl/ProcurementCardStatementTransaction.busclass
  • modules/po/bl/ProcurementCardStatementTransactionDistribution.busclass

  1. Create a procurement card statement charge with distributions. Distribution must contain a Project that has been set up for FES.
  2. Select Actions > Front End Split Distributions.
  3. Verify that the original distribution is replaced with the split distributions.
  4. Approve and close the charges and verify that the distributions are correct on the payables invoice.
  5. Create a procurement card statement charge with distributions as in step 1. Approve and close the charge and verify that the original distribution has been replaced with the split distributions.
  6. Approve and close the charges and verify that the distributions are correct on the payables invoice.
