Lease Accounting

This section contains enhancements in Infor Financials and Supply Management.

Drill back from payables invoice to lease invoice

Added a drill around link between payables invoice and lease invoice to allow users to view the invoice details from both sides of the invoice.

The new drill around link allows users to view the invoice details from the other viewpoint when the invoice is released using the lease specialist role. This enhancement is view only, users cannot make changes when viewing the invoice from the other viewpoint.

Testing notes:

  1. Test through the Payables Manager role. Navigate to an invoice created for a lease and ensure that the lease invoice navigation is available for lease invoices that are either released or posted.
  2. Test that a Payables Manager user can access the lease invoice and open the lines detail. No changes should be made.
  3. Test through the lease specialist role. Navigate to a released or posted invoice and ensure that the Payables invoice navigation is available, and no further actions can be taken.
  4. Test for lease invoices – if the invoice is released/posted no further changes should be able to be made to the invoice.

Add LeaseFund to the Copy Lease Process

Lease Fund created for Fund Accounting will not have the option to be copied to the new lease when running the Lease Copy action.

When copying a lease with Lease Funds and the user will have the option to include the Lease Funds during the copy process. If selected, the Lease Funds from the original lease will be copied to the new leases with the same dimensions and percentages as on the original lease.

Testing notes:

A user must test both leases that are with or without Lease Funds.
  1. Verify that on leases without Lease Funds there is no prompt to copy Lease Funds.
  2. Verify that lease funds are only copied if the Copy Lease Fund option is selected.
  3. Verify if creating multiple copies and the Lease Fund copy option is checked, all the new leases have lease funds on them.
