Requisition Self Service

This section contains enhancements in Infor Financials and Supply Management.

Add To Request and Select line option for RSS/Shopping List

Currently on a mobile device, the user must scroll to the right to access the current Add To Request option. With the option in the blue banner, the option to add multiple lines to a cart is more accessible and provide a better user experience.

This is beneficial to a user using RSS on a mobile device or a small screen. This is also useful when adding select items to a request where the item list panel does not fit completely on the page.

Program/Business class/Process affected:

Added a check box in the Shopping List screen to allow the selection of shopping list items to be added to the cart.

Added an Add to Request option to add only the selected items to the cart.

Add previous/next item link to RSS Request item drill page

When looking at items on a requisition, if an update needs to be made on multiple lines, the user currently has to drill into a line, make the update, save, go back to the requisition lines, drill into the next line, and repeat until the lines are updated. Having a link to move to the previous or next requisition line is quicker to access a different line

Program/Business class/Process affected:

Added the next/previous icon at the upper right section of the cart line item detail page.

Added a condition to move to the next line record when the next or previous icon is clicked.

Screens affected:

  1. Test for multiple requisition lines and perform a next or previous action from the first to the last line.
  2. Test for multiple requisition lines, select a requisition line in the middle, and perform a next or previous action to scan the rest of the requisition lines.
  3. Test for multiple requisition lines, perform a next or previous action, do a change to a line, then proceed to the next line.
  4. Test for a single requisition line.
  5. Test for a volume of line records for performance.

RSS Type Ahead Search issues for only some items

The Catalog type ahead search is a Google-type search that indexes all Item data (Item, Item loc, Manufacturer, Vendor, Contracts,etc.). RSS limits the type ahead display to ten for performance reasons. If this display does not provide the desired results, the user can specify more criteria to try a more focused search or press Enter without selecting a type ahead record to page through more results.

RSS changes the message returned by the Type Ahead to "Press enter to view all results" to inform the user about this ability.

The user can focus the search on certain fields by using the Advanced Search. Customers can set the search default to the Advanced Search for the IC Company or the Requester.

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

Specify more criteria to try a more focused search or press Enter without selecting a type ahead record to page through more results.
