Manually adding actor context records and linking agents

This procedure completes the process of manually adding an Employee record for Financials by adding an Actor Context and a link to the Agent for the Employee you created in the previous procedure.

  1. Sign in to Infor Ming.le as an Financials administrator.
  2. From Infor Ming.le select the Financials application.
  3. Assign the Agent to the Actor.
    1. Access the Application Administrator role in Financials.
    2. From the Financials or Supply Management menus, select Shared Processes > Employee Information.
    3. Find and select the new Employee and from the Action menu, select Update Login.
    4. Specify the name of the Actor.
      Note: If you used Global Human Resources user provisioning to add the user, the name must match the Actor you provided at that time.
  4. If Actor Context has not yet been assigned for the Employee, assign it now.
    1. From Administrative Console, select Security > Actor Context.
    2. Select the Actor from the list or click Create and specify the Actor Name.
    3. Select the Context Property. You must select it. Do not attempt to type the property manually.
    4. Specify a valid name and click Save > New
  5. Repeat steps 4c-d for the Context Properties for EnterpriseGroup, FinanceEnterpriseGroup, and HROrganization.
    Note: When you finish adding the last Context Property, use Save, not Save > New.
