Managing roles in the application

Roles are assigned to actors when they are added to the system. As part of ongoing administration, you can update an actor record by adding or removing roles. Infor recommends you use Infor Ming.le® User Management, also referred to as Infor Federation Services CE, or IFS, to manage users, including role management. See Creating users and assigning roles in Ming.le.

If you can not use Infor Ming.le to manage roles, you can also add or remove roles for existing users in Financials and Supply Management.

Note: Before you start you must know the names of roles that you want to assign to the users.
