Responding to events

Use this procedure to respond to events and ask questions about the events.
  1. Select Events > Browse Open Events.
  2. Select an event and click View Event.
  3. Click Respond Now.
  4. On the Event Response form, specify this information:
    I accept the terms and conditions for this event and confirm that I am authorized to accept these terms and conditions and submit bids for my company
    Select this check box to accept the terms and conditions of the event. Click Terms And Conditions to view the terms in PDF.
    Terms and conditions can be customized for every event.

    I would like to negotiate the terms and conditions for this event
    Select this check box to negotiate the terms and conditions of the event.
    Negotiation Comments
    Specify the negotiation terms.
    Note: This option is only available if the negotiation check box is selected.
    Negotiation Attachment
    Select an attachment related to the negotiation.
    Note: This option is only available if the negotiation check box is selected.
    I do not want to bid on this event
    Select this check box to withhold bidding on the event.
  5. Click Next.
  6. On the Line Responses form, select Maintain Line Response Details to update a price for a specific item line.
  7. Click Next.
  8. On the Question Responses form, specify the answers on the posted questions.
  9. Click Next.
  10. On the Response Attachments form, click Create to attach any file that provides additional information about the bid.
  11. Click Next.
  12. On the Submit Response form, click Submit.
    Note: Ensure that all information are correct before submitting a response.
