Item lifecycle management groups

Item lifecycle management groups are used to define settings and rules for recall notice functionality and processing.

Item lifecycle management groups correspond to the Purchasing procurement groups. The item lifecycle management group association with procurement group is what ties information with the transactions in Financials and Supply Management

An item lifecycle management group in Item Lifecycle Management and the related procurement group in Purchasing must have the same group number. For example, if the procurement group number is GRP123, then the related item lifecycle management group number must also be GRP123.
