Contract templates

In Contract Management, there are two types of templates: contract templates and document and addendum templates.

Contract templates contain all of your related contract information. They are particularly useful for reviewing, negotiating, and updating contract terms.

Contract templates are similar to contracts, except that they default specific information onto contracts and can be reused for multiple contracts. During setup, you must select the contract group for the contract template and specify a description for the template.

A contract template is used to define information for a contract. A contract template is similar to a contract, except that it remains in the repository where it can be reused. Templates are useful because you can decide how much information to default to a contract.

Creating a contract from a contract template lets you default specific information to new contracts. You can then add or change information to the new contract as needed.
