Posting journal entries to the general ledger

Use this procedure to post journals at the district level. The Journal Postings tab is available when the District Level Posting check box is selected.

  1. Select Manage Districts.
  2. Open a district.
  3. On Journal Postings tab, select the journals to post to Global Ledger.

  4. Select Actions > Release.
  5. When journals are released, select Processing > Journalize.
  6. In the Journalize Preview, click Journalize.
  7. Specify this information:
    School
    Select a school that is in the district..
    Post Thru Date
    Specify a date.
  8. Click OK.
