Overview

Use Requisition Self Service (RSS) to create requests for goods or services from either internal or external vendors.

• You can create, view, and modify requisitions and you can perform self receiving.

  Before you can use this solution, you must perform some setup in other modules. See Setup:

• Setting up requisitions

  When you set up this solution, you must consider the requesting requirements for your central reporting structure. Specifically, you must determine the number of requesters, requesting locations, and optionally, the approval levels. To se up requisitions, see the Requisitions User Guide.

• Creating requisitions

  When you create a requisition, you request items from inventory or from vendors. There are methods available so that you can customize the requesting process for your business.

• Viewing and modifying requisitions

  Use this solution to maintain and track the status of requisitions for your business.
