Creating requisitions from existing requisitions or templates

A procurement template is a list of items you set up in advance. A pre-defined shopping list from which you select lines for a requisition. You can use a template to copy items to a new requisition. You can add additional items to the requisition, if necessary. You set up a template by specifying the company and the requester, or the company and the requesting location, plus other template information.

Use a template to:

  • Create a requisition
  • Copy lines from an existing procurement template
  • Copy an existing requisition
  • Copy lines from a requisition

Before you can create a requisition from a template or copy existing information from another requisition, you must have created a requisition and set up your procurement template.
