Output file types

The EFT processing creates flat files for a customer's account. These files are specified as a line delimited flat file with a line size of 100 bytes. They are designed like forms with column headers, data, and totals.

The output files are electronically sent to a customer listing open or adjusted items. The totals create a direct debit or credit to the customer's bank account.

The types of output files include these files:

• Notification flat files
• Adjustment flat files
• Payment files
