Applying cash to payment

  1. Sign in as Receivables Specialist or Receivables Manager.
  2. For Receivables Specialist, select Cash Application > Apply Cash.
    For Receivables Manager, select Processing > Cash Application > Apply Cash.
  3. Select a payment record.
  4. Specify this information:
    Application Open Amount To Apply
    Optionally, specify the amount to apply.
    Adjustment Reason
    Optionally, select an adjustment reason for the highlighted application.
    Adjustment Amount
    Optionally, specify an adjustment amount.
  5. On the selected row, click Apply To Payment.
  6. Click the Applications button.
  7. In the Adjustments For Application section, specify the Adjustment Reason.
  8. Click Save.
