Removing transactions from revenue recognition

Only revenue with a Created status can be adjusted.

When removing expense lines from recognized revenue, there is an option to put the expense on hold. The expense line is added the next time the Recognize Revenue action is run unless it is on hold. Any contract fees that are associated with the expense lines are removed automatically.

  1. Sign in as Project Accountant, Project Administrator, or Project Manager.
  2. Select Project Contracts.
  3. Select the Contracts tab and open a contract.
  4. Select the Revenue tab.
  5. Select a run group line for which to display the associated revenue lines.
  6. In the Revenue Detail section, right-click the line to remove and select Remove Revenue Transaction.
  7. Select the Place On Hold check box to place the transaction on hold. If the transaction is placed on hold, it is not added the next time the Recognize Revenue action is executed. An action to remove the revenue hold must be executed to release the transaction for revenue recognition. If the transaction is not placed on hold, it is automatically added the next time revenue is recognized.
  8. Click Submit.
  9. Click OK to confirm removal.
