Copying report settings

  1. Select Reports By Actor.
  2. On the Project Obligations tab, select the report settings to copy.
  3. Select Actions > Copy Project Reporting Settings.
  4. Specify this information:
    New Actor
    Select an actor to whom to assign the project report settings. The default value is your actor ID .
    Project Reporting Settings, New Description
    Specify a name and description for the report setting. The value for the new description is the value from the report settings that was copied and is the suffix of _Copy.
    New Project Structure
    Select a structure for the report setting. The value from the copied report setting is the default.
    New Budget Scenario
    Select a budget scenario for the report setting. The value from the copied report setting is the default.
    New Account
    Select the summary or posting account to show on the report for the report settings. If a summary account is selected, then all of the posting accounts that are related to the summary are displayed on the report. If this field is blank, then all posting accounts are displayed. The value from the copied report setting is the default.
    New Reporting Period
    Select a report period for the report setting. The value from the copied report setting is the default.
    New Period End Date
    Select the period end date to use for the report setting. The value from the copied report setting is the default.
    New Comparison Period End Date
    Select a comparison period end date to compare to the Period End Date. This field is only used for the Project Period Comparison Report. This field is displayed when the reporting period is not Life To Date.
    New Report Currency Option
    Select the report currency to use for the report setting. The value from the copied report setting is the default.
  5. In the Budget Variance Percent Settings section, red, yellow, and green alerts are used on the project variance report. Specify the new minimum and maximum percent of variance to show for each of the alerts.
  6. Specify the text that is displayed when a user moves the pointer over each of the alerts.
  7. Click Submit.
