Rule builder guidelines for finance structure

The Global Ledger account, project, and user dimension fields are specified in the database. When you use business class groups or custom groups, you can add finance structure rules syntax for a range of accounts, projects, or account categories. The syntax can be added when customers use numbers as key fields or smart code projects and account categories.Financials and Supply Management. Therefore, when using the rule builder and selecting one of these fields, only these operators are available in the rule builder:

• like
• equal to
• not equal to
• entered
• not entered

You can manually provide the syntax for a valid range of accounts, projects, or account categories.

If you use a group, you can specify a range in the group criteria without using the builder. To specify a range of accounts, specify this syntax:

GeneralLedgerChartAccount >= "ABC" and GeneralLedgerChartAccount <= "XYZ"
