Removing transactions from an invoice

Only invoices with a status of Created can be adjusted.

When removing expense lines from an invoice, you can put the expense on hold. The expense line is added the next time the Generate Invoices action is run, unless it is on hold. Contract fees that are associated with the expense lines are removed automatically. Only expense transaction lines can be removed with the Remove Transaction action.

  1. Sign in as Project Accountant, Project Administrator, or Project Manager.
  2. Select Project Contracts.
  3. Select the Contracts tab and open a contract.
  4. Select the Invoices tab.
  5. Select a contract invoice record, right-click the associated invoice line, and select Remove Transaction.
  6. Select the Place On Hold check box. Transactions that are on hold are not included when invoices are generated. The Remove Billing Hold action must be run to release the transaction for invoicing. Transactions that are not on hold are automatically added when invoices are generated.
  7. Click Submit.
