Changing employee labor schedule

Occasionally, employees must be changed from one labor schedule to another. If an employee has assignments or had labor distributed under the current schedule, then your organization may want to keep views of those processed records. The action to change the labor schedule also changes the related effort schedule based on a specified date.

  1. Sign in as Project Accountant or Project Administrator.
  2. For Project Accountant, select Project Management > Project List.
    For Project Administrator, select Setup > Project Setup.
  3. Open the enterprise structure and select the Employees tab.
  4. Open an employee and select the Project Employee tab.
  5. Select Actions > Change Labor Schedule.
  6. Specify this information:
    New Labor Schedule
    Select the new labor schedule for the employee.
    Beginning
    Select the beginning date for the new labor schedule.
  7. Click Submit.
