Storno

Typically, corrective entries are made by reversing the accounts of the transaction, assuming separate debit and credit data elements per transaction line. Debits and credits are both shown as positive values.

With Storno, the accounts of the transaction remain the same but you reverse the debit or credit amount using a negative sign on the journal line.

How Infor meets this requirement

FSM invoices and journal transactions share one column for both debit and credit amounts. Debits use positive amounts, while credits use negative amounts. When canceling transactions or creating adjustment entries, you must post to the opposite of debit and credit accounts. FSM only supports the black storno.
