Copying actuals allocations

You can copy actuals allocations to create a new allocation from an existing allocation or to create a copy of an existing allocation. You can copy allocations between allocation controls.

Select Processing > Allocations > Allocation Control.
Open an allocation control.
On the Actuals tab, select the allocation to copy.
Click Actions > Copy Allocation.
Specify this information:

Allocation Control

Select the allocation control to which the new allocation is associated.

Allocation

Specify the name of the new allocation.

Description

Specify a description for the new allocation.

Ledger

Select a ledger for the new allocation. The default value is the source ledger of the existing allocation.

Default Step

Select the default step that is assigned to the allocation line.

Allocation Group

Select an allocation group. The allocation group is used to enable processing of multiple allocations simultaneously.

Allow Multiple Postings

Select this check box to allocate more than once per period.

Global Ledger Event

Select an event for the allocation. JE is the default event.
Click Submit.
