Item Lifecycle Management user roles

This table shows a high level overview of the tasks than can be performed by each role.

User Role Tasks
Item Lifecycle Administrator
  • Works primarily from the Item Lifecycle Administrator home page.
  • Works with security administrators to set up security for Item Lifecycle Management.
  • Defines and maintains components, such as groups, users, organization, domains, instructions, reason codes, notice types.
  • Sets up and maintains Process Server processes, if applicable.
  • Monitors the status of system queues and Process Server.
  • Views, analyzes, and reports on all notices.
  • Search on notices or products.
  • Audits notices.
  • Can do all the tasks a Item Lifecycle Coordinator can do.
Item Lifecycle Coordinator
  • Works primarily from the Item Lifecycle Coordinator home page.
  • Creates new notices.
  • Reviews notices created from Item Lifecycle Management or Supplier Portal and moves them on for processing or closure if not applicable.
  • Imports notices from third party services.
  • Reviews notices created from import and moves them on for processing or closure if not applicable.
  • Queries Infor transactions, including requisitions, purchase orders, inventory, contracts and agreements, procurement templates, sourcing events, par locations, intransit transfers, issues, lot/serial numbers, and equipment.
  • Processes notices, including assigning related tasks to users.
  • Reviews active and historical notices.
Item Lifecycle Responder
  • Works from the Item Lifecycle Responder home page
  • Completes any item lifecycle management-related tasks that are assigned to them by the Item Lifecycle Coordinator.
Item Lifecycle Reporter
  • Report notices
Registered Supplier Portal user Supplier Portal uses a web interface so that a registered Supplier Portal user can report a notice to your organization.
