Scheduling internal replication sets

Use this procedure to schedule Inventory Intelligence II_FSM_INTERNAL replication sets and specify the output location.
Note: We recommend that you use a service account when scheduling replication sets. If you use an owner or actor role that is deleted, the job cannot run. This is an async action that is scheduled outside of the Job Console and cannot be transferred to other owners or actors.
  1. Sign in as Administration Console user and select Database > Replication.
  2. Open the II_FSM_INTERNAL replication set.
  3. Specify this information:
    Export Format
    Select CSV.
    Data output
    Select the Local check box.
    Caution:
Do not select a Schema output check box and only select Local in Data output. Do not change any other settings.
  4. Click Save. The replication set is updated.
  5. On the Business Classes pane, open InventoryTransactionLine business class.
  6. In the Earliest Change Date To Include field, specify a date that is three months before the current date to limit the initial load of data. This field is not displayed if the replication was previously run.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the PurchaseOrderLineSource and PurchaseOrderReceiptLine business classes.
  9. Select Database > Replication.
  10. Open the II_FSM_INTERNAL replication set.
  11. Select Actions > Register All Schemas .
  12. For II_FSM_INTERNAL, click Actions > Replicate and specify a schedule. We recommend that you set a nightly schedule to run this action approximately an hour before the Daily Data process is scheduled to run.
  13. When the first replication is completed, on the Business Classes tab, open the InventoryTransactionLine business class.
  14. Select Actions > Backfill Data.
  15. Specify 90 in the Offset Days field.
  16. Click Schedule and specify this information:
    Schedule Type
    Select Advanced Schedule
    Latest Time To Run
Select a future date 12 days after the current date.
Note: If you set the date in the future, the initial load of data is limited. A maximum of three years' of history is loaded and split into smaller sets of data.
    Hour
Select a value between 2 and 7 a.m. This specific time frame is required to reduce the risk of interference with other processes that are running on Financials and Supply Management.
  17. Click OK to save the schedule.
  18. Click OK to confirm Backfill Data.
  19. Repeat steps 11 through 16 for the PurchaseOrderLineSource and PurchaseOrderReceiptLine business classes.
Each time the replicate action is executed, only records that have been created, updated, or deleted since the last replication are replicated. To replicate a complete set of data, use the Reset action. Reset clears the last refresh stamp and the next replication action replicates all data for all related records.
