Setting rule order

When you have multiples rules, you can specify the order in which each engine rule is applied. Create general rules first, and then more specific rules. Otherwise the specific case is lost to the general rule. For example, a general rule could apply to all inventory items, or all items from a vendor source. A more specific rule could apply to one company or even one item.

You can find the Order field where the list of all rules of given type is displayed under specific tab. You can navigate there via Return To Rules button.

  1. Select Rules.
  2. To change the order, specify the new order for each rule in the Order field and save.
  3. Click Save.
