Aggregate sales processing

In certain situations, a franchiser may be required to record sales figures from a franchisee at one frequency and bill for the sales-based charges at another frequency.

For example, a franchiser may be required to collect sales data from a franchisee on a weekly basis but prefer to bill the franchisee on a monthly basis. Sales figures are recorded by Franchise Billing on a weekly basis. The weekly figures are totaled and the customer is billed once a month, based on the total aggregated sales reported by the franchisee.

Set up your aggregate sales processing options at the company and contract levels. Aggregate sales are recorded during sales entry. Charges are calculated when you run Sales Update.
