Manually creating effort schedules

You can manually create effort schedules if one of these is true:

  • Your effort is reported on periods that are different than your labor schedules
  • You have only one or two effort schedules.

When the schedule is added, the first year of periods is automatically created.

  1. Select Financials > Project Ledger > Setup > Project Setup.
  2. Click the Effort Schedules tab and click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Effort Schedule, Description
    Specify a code and description to represent the effort schedule.
    Frequency
    Select the certification frequency for the effort schedule.
    First Period Start Date
    Specify the start date of the first period for the labor schedule. This date must align with your earliest labor schedule that is linked to this effort schedule. After the record is saved, the start date cannot be changed. If the start date is specified incorrectly, the schedule must be deleted and a new schedule must be created.
  4. Click Save.
