Asset summary groups

Use asset summary groups to group multiple assets so they can be viewed as if they are a single asset. When you inquire on the summary group, all assets that are related to the summary group are summarized as if they are a single asset. All assets in the group must have similar asset setup so that they post to the same accounts.

• The Assets tab shows all of the assets in the group and their values.
• The Items tabs shows all of the items of all assets in the group and their costs.
• The Books tab shows each asset book for the assets in the group, their in service date, basis, LTD, and YTD depreciation.
