Using pricing worksheets

  1. Select Financials > Billing > Setup > Item Related Setup > Pricing Worksheet.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Company
    Select a company number.
    Worksheet
    Specify a worksheet name.
  4. On the Update options tab, specify this information:
    Currency
    Select a price base that is defined using one currency.
    Base Name
    If a base name is selected, then the current base price that is tied to the base is multiplied by the multiplier criteria in Item Selection. This formula calculates the new base prices for all items.
    Location
    If a base location is required for the company, then the base list must be further identified by location. This field creates an acceptable worksheet that can be used to update the selected base.
    Inventory Location
    If the base price is located in a specific location, then select the inventory location.
    Last Issue Cost
    Select Item Cost Is First Choice or Item Cost Is Second Choice to specify whether the item's last issued cost is updated for the price source.
  5. In the Update section, specify this information:
    Currency
    Update or create another price base in currency.
    Base Name
    Select the base price name that is updated or created by the worksheet when Base List Worksheet Update is run.
    Location
    If Base Location Required is selected for the company, then the base name must be further identified by location to create base price.
    Effective Date
    Select a date the prices for the updated base take effect.
  6. On the Item Selection tab, specify this information:
    Vendor
    Select a vendor to limit the worksheet to only processing the items that have a primary vendor.
    Multiplier
    Specify a vendor multiplier. A vendor multiplier is the amount that the price source is multiplied by to arrive at the base price. The multiplier is valid for all items that are selected for processing.
    Major Sales Class Ranges/Multiplier
    Select up to 14 beginning and ending major sales classes and specify a number that is multiplied by the price base.
    Item Ranges/Multiplier
    Select up to seven beginning and ending items that are affected by the price change and specify a number that is multiplied by the price base.
  7. Click Save.
