Creating calendar dates

Use this procedure to create dates for the system calendar.

  1. Select General Setup > Calendars.
  2. Select a system calendar and select Actions > Create Dates.
  3. Select a starting and ending year.
  4. Specify this information:
    Work Day
    Select the days of the week that are work days. This value is used in Close Management.
    Bank Day
    Select the days of the week that are bank days. This value is used in Close Management.
  5. Click Submit.

    The list of dates for the calendar are displayed.

  6. Optionally, specify this information:
    Holiday
    Optionally, use this field to indicate the name of the holiday for reference. This value not used in any of the financials solutions. When a value is provided, the non-work day text on the Calendar View is replaced.
