Creating EFT options

If you select the EFT Processing field for the company or customer group, then specify and maintain EFT cash and payment processing codes.

  1. Select Financials > Receivables > Setup > Receivable Companies.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Select the Electronic Fund Transfer tab.
  4. In the Company Processing section, specify this information:
    Enable Electronic Funds Transfer
    Select this check box if EFT transactions are processed by this company.
    System Calendar
    Select the EFT calendar that is used for this company. The calendar is set up in the environment's calendar specification.
    Due Days/Type
    Specify the number of days and select the type that is used to calculate the ending due date range in EFT processing .
    Global Ledger Days/Type
    Specify the number of days used and select the type that is used to calculate the ending Global Ledger date range.
    Deposit Days/Type
    Specify the number of days and select the type that is used to calculate the end deposit days date range
  5. In the Group or Company Processing section, specify this information:
    Deposit Cash Code
    Select the deposit cash code that is valid in Cash Management.
    Credit Cash Code
    Select the credit cash code that is valid in Cash Management.
    Deposit Payment Code
    Select the deposit payment code that is valid in Cash Management.
    Credit Payment Code
    Select the credit payment code that is valid in Cash Management.
    EFT Company ID
    Specify the EFT company ID number that is used for ACH processing to identify the entity that is receiving and sending funds.
    Last EFT Debit Memo Number
    Specify the last EFT debit memo number that is used for cash application purposes for credit balance processing.
    Require Payment Cash Codes
    Select this check box if cash codes are required as EFT Payment Creation.
  6. Click Save.
