Cash codes

A cash code represents a bank account. You can have more than one account at a bank. Each combination of bank location and bank account number must be unique. This list shows the reasons you might define unique cash codes for a bank account:

  • Issue payments from Payables
  • Deposit payments to Receivables
  • Deposit cash receipts to Cash Management
  • Create bank service transactions, such as service charges, and interest, in Cash Management.
