Creating invoice routing rules

Invoice routing rules are used to determine to whom an invoice is routed for approval. It is created in the same manner as invoice assignment rules.

  1. Select Invoice Routing Rules.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify a Vendor Group, Name and provide a Description.
  4. Specify this information:
    Invoice Routing Rule
    Specify a condition using Infor Pattern Language (IPL) syntax. The condition defines the selection criteria for the custom group. You can also use the rule builder but you must have access to a Rich Client environment.
    Auto Approve
    Select this check box to automatically approve the invoice routing rule.
  5. Specify an Approval Code or Approval Code Group for the invoice routing rule.
  6. Select the Active check box to make the invoice routing rule active.
  7. Click Save.
