Creating an event

  1. Select Financials > Global Ledger > Setup > Finance Enterprise Group > Maintenance.
  2. Open the finance enterprise group and click the Event tab.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Specify this information:
    Event
    Specify the event name using two alphanumeric characters. Specify the event description.
    Primary System
    Select the primary system code.
    Effective Date
    You can specify the date on which you want the event to take effect. If you leave this field blank, then the current date is used.
  5. Click Save. The event is created with a source type of user.
