Overview

Users of Infor Ming.le® can view significant information that is related to the system for which the application is programmed. Context applications are located on the right side of the user interface.

Context Applications provide useful information that is specific to a business class.

This table shows the business classes that are enabled in Infor Ming.le:

Context application Description
Infor Business Context
  • Sends messages for specific business events.
  • Multiple web parts can consume a single message.

For example, a single business context message for a purchase order can be consumed by the Content Assistant and Business Intelligence web parts and Infor SocialSpace.

Related Information (IDM)
  • Configured to track contextual changes in any Ming.le-enabled product that publishes contextual changes when a selection is made
  • The IDM context application and Infor Ming.le displays related documents based on the business message context sent from the publishing product. Available onInfor Ming.le 12.
Infor Smart Help A context sensitive help system that can connect to various content repositories, including Infor product documentation, knowledge base articles, training materials, and customer documents. Available on Infor Ming.le 12 or later.

Paparazzi
  • Configured to track contextual changes in any Infor Ming.le-enabled product that publishes contextual changes when a selection is made
  • The Paparazzi context application and Infor Ming.le displays social objects in context to what the user is doing. The application also displays social objects associated to the objects which are currently in context to what the user is doing. This feature is only available on Ming.le 12.
