Data integrity

To ensure data integrity from GPO data to Contract costs that are used for cost defaulting, these rules must be followed:

• GPO data cannot be updated directly.
• Although some values on Contract Interface records for GPO Contracts can be updated, values that pertain to GPO data are not be updated directly. This is also true for Manufacturer and Distributor Contract records.
• Each GPO Contract must have a single Contract Interface record, and each GPO Contract Interface record must have a single Manufacturer Contract record.
• Member and Supplier Mapping must be completed before any GPO Contract Interface records are processed. Member mapping cannot change after Contracts exist for that reference the member.
• After a markup percent is established for a Distributor, it will not change. Each Distributor Supplier and GPO Contract combination will only have a single markup percent.
• New Tiers must not be added to GPO Header records without an associated GPO Participant.
