Cost changes and new items

The Find And Update Cost Changes And New Items action, which can be run automatically for this process, is run for a single Contract Interface record at a time.

This describes how lines on a Contract Interface record are affected when you run this action.

If a line on a Contract interface record Manufacturer Contract is set to Update, the Base Cost and any associated Tier Costs are updated. If the line is set to Create, a new line and Tier Costs are created.

When a Distributor Contract is associated with the Manufacturer Contract:

  • Line Base Costs are updated
  • Line Member costs are updated based on changes on the Manufacturer Contract
  • If a Supplier has a Contract Line Import Distributor record that is set to Create, a new line record is created.

If the contract is active before processing and if necessary, the Release Members action will run.
