Contract milestones

Contract milestones are used to identify important dates and to indicate progress as defined within the scope of a contract. In Contract Management, milestones are most commonly used for grant, service, or construction-related contracts. For example, a construction contract may include milestones to indicate when the foundation is finished or when a specified percent of framing is complete.

There are two ways that notification emails for upcoming milestone due dates can be sent:

• Run the Send Email Notifications Of Milestones batch program. You can schedule it even for recurring runs.
• Run the Send Immediate Email action either for a specific milestone contact or for a different person.
