Pricing worksheet

Before you can use pricing worksheets, see the Financials Setup and Administration Guide for setup information.

A pricing worksheet is a tool to modify price bases. You can select an existing item price source to calculate the future price base. For example, you can select last issue cost, last received cost, or the current base price of another base name.

The future price base is calculated by multiplying the source base price by a specified factor, based on vendor, sales class, or item number. When you update the worksheet, the future prices are applied to the items.

Example: The price of a major sales class of items, such as frozen foods, increases by 20%. You can create a worksheet to increase all frozen food prices.
