Zero-after option

The zero-after option is a function that is used to clear the quantity that is charged on recurring invoices after each billing period.

You can choose the zero-after option for both line items and add on charges. If you select the zero-after option, then the quantity is cleared after creating each recurring invoice. You are required to create a new quantity each time.

Note: The zero-after option is a one-time decision that cannot be changed later.

You can choose to zero-out charges for these reasons:

  • To regularly audit changes in quantity and charges
  • To maintain invoice charges that differ for each new billing period
