Creating, loading, and refreshing cubes

The OLAP cubes are initially created during installation and thereafter refreshed in the Payables Manager home page, the Buyer home page, or the Inventory Manager home page. The relevant cube for Payables is Payables.

Note: Cubes cannot be created unless relational data already exists in the product database.

You can refresh and reload cubes. A cube refresh action includes transactions since the last reload or refresh. A reload action drops the cube and reloads it. In an implementation with robust data, an initial load or a reload can run for a long time. The reload action is only available to the Supply Management Administrator role. You can immediately run cube refresh and reload actions or scheduled to run later.
