Lock event close date to its original date upon open as earliest date

Previously, uses could change the close date on an open event to an earlier date with no edits. This issue is fixed. New options are added to Sourcing Group and Sourcing Company that allow you to control how event close dates are changed. You can use these options on sealed and non-sealed bids for open events, Choose from these options:

  • Always allow change
  • Only allow change if no responses exist
  • Never allow change

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

  1. In Sourcing Company, set values for the 4 fields under Close Date Change Rules While Event Is Open. Note that in initial setup, Sourcing Company values will default from Sourcing Group.
  2. Create both sealed and non-sealed events with open and close dates. Release the events. Wait until the events are open.
  3. Attempt to change the close dates with the various settings. For the If Not Responses Exist option: Add responses to the events to verify the edits.
  4. The edits are also valid for the Best and Final and Two Step close dates. Test these if applicable.
  5. Both Best and Final and Two Step Close Dates will create an amendment if these are true:
    • The event is set to create amendments
    • Sourcing Company > Amendment Information > Update Sourcing Event check box is selected

Provide additional information as to whether Event responses need to be analyzed

Users needed a way to determine which responses a Buyer had not viewed. This enhancement features an optional Show Responses Viewed check box. With this feature enabled, when viewing open responses, a red alert is displayed for non no bid responses that have not been viewed.

On the Analysis form, a new tab shows unviewed responses.

One of these steps will clear the tab:

  • Performing the Mark Responses as Viewed action
  • Doing an Award All
  • Awarding at line level

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

  1. For your sourcing company, select the Show Responses Not Viewed On Analysis Form check box. There is also a field at Sourcing Group level that will default to company.
  2. Create and release a sourcing event.
  3. Create several responses to the event and submit them. One of the responses should be a no bid.
  4. Select Manage Events > Open.
  5. View the Status column for your event. Verify that a blue alert is displayed that indicates how many no bid responses there are.
  6. View the Bid Responses column for your event. Verify that a red alert is displayed that indicates how many responses have been viewed that are not no bid. In this case it should be all the responses less the no bid.
  7. Click the Bid Responses link and view the resulting form.
  8. Verify that a Responses Not Viewed tab for unviewed responses with amounts is displayed.
  9. Perform the Mark Responses As Viewed action. Verify that the tab is cleared.
  10. Perform steps 2 - 7 again. In the Analysis form, perform an Award All action. Verify that the Responses Not Viewed tab is cleared.
  11. Perform steps 2-7 again. In the Analysis form, award a line in the Responses By Line tab. Verify that the Responses Not Viewed tab is cleared.

Suppress access to non called out actions on lists for anonymous user in supplier portal

Anonymous users had access to the ellipsis menu on lists and forms in the supplier portal. This has been removed using called out actions only.

To test the enhancement, verify that none of the lists and forms accessible to anonymous users in the supplier portal include the ellipsis menu.
