Tax codes

Tax codes are predefined codes that are used to identify the tax authorities to which your company pays taxes. Tax codes can be used as tax table codes, stand-alone tax codes, or table members. Tax setup is part of Receivables.

Tax code	Description
Tax table code	These codes have no rates assigned to them. They are used to apply more than one tax code to a transaction to calculate tax.
Stand-alone tax codes	These codes have rates assigned and can be used as a stand-alone tax code or as a member of a tax table.
Table members	These codes have rates assigned but can only be used in a tax table.
