Viewing the XML for tax log

Use tax log to read calls to OneSource.

Before you start:

  • OneSource must be configured.
  • The Third Party Option field on Tax Entity must be OneSource.
  • The Write To Log field on Tax Configuration must be selected.
  • DisplayWebserviceErrorXml must be true if there is a non successful execution.

Use this procedure to view the XML that is sent to or returned from OneSource regardless of whether the call was successful.

  1. Verify that the Write To Log File field is selected in the Tax Configuration for OneSource.
  2. On the Tax Entity page, select the Tax Log tab. The Tax Log should now have a tab that contains the OneSource XML.
  3. On the Configuration page, set the DisplayWebserviceErrorXml to true. The XML shows in a new window if there is a Webservice error that does not produce a successful call.
