Assigning attributes for generic version type

This task is only valid for generic version types.

  1. Sign in as Application Administrator and select Financials > Payables > Tax Setup > Tax Entities.
  2. Select a tax entity record. If Tax System is set to One Source, the One Source Setup tab is available.
  3. On the One Source Setup tab, click the Tax Attribute Code field and create a new tax attribute. For a tax attribute to use in the Project Ledger system, specify Project-C.
  4. On the All One Source Attribute tab, click Create.
  5. Select an attribute to map to and a static value or a dynamic value.
    • If a value is specified, that is the value that is passed to OneSource.
    • If you select a Dynamic Value, the dynamic value is loaded when the transaction is executed. For example, if you select a Dynamic Value of Company, the company is loaded in that field when the transaction is executed.
